Melting Ice in Vermont

Tuesday, September 2, 2008 (the day after Labor Day)

- Town Meeting - Eskimo Style, led by Angaangaq, on the tension between teens and police regarding underage drinking. For teens, parents, teachers, law makers, law enforcers, and community members who care about them  - at Montpelier High School Cafeteria from 3- 5 pm. Pizza and soda at 2:45. - Circle of Stories, Song and Sharing, for parents, children and the young at heart - 7:00pm, Alumni Hall (the gymnasium) at Vermont College in Montpelier -- directions to Alumni Hall
Free - however, donations are most welcome to help offset the expenses of this event

Wednesday, September 3, 2008

- Circle with EarthWalk Village School students and inservice training for staff and board of directors of EarthWalk Vermont. For more information about EarthWalk Vermont go to www.earthwalkvermont.org

Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5

- Two day intensive seminar to be held on the campus of Goddard College in Plainfield, 20 minutes east of Montpelier, just off US Rte. 2. Cost is $240, which includes 3 meals in the Goddard dining hall. Thursday evening will be a time of ceremony. Map to meeting room.

Saturday, September 6

- Sunrise fire and water ceremony - at 6:00am near the Winooski River at Schoolhouse Commons in Marshfield,, followed by a potluck breakfast. Open to the public.

- After the breakfast, individual private healings may be scheduled. $150 per session. Montpelier location TBA.
